Exported the records i needed from my Address book to a CSV….period

This little app saved me a load of headache and about $30. It does it’s one little trick very well. exported my Mac AddressBook/Contacts group out as a CSV file so i could import it into Excel.

My guess is that the people who had issues, either wanted it to do more than it promised, or don’t really know what to do with a CSV file anyway. This will NOT convert from address book to some other contact format. But it WILL export your contacts into a generic csv file you can then play with or clean up in your favorite text editor.

Well worth every one of my 99 pennies.

**tip: I was origianlly trying to Convert a VCard file with 150 contacts to CSV. Couldn’t do it directly, so I imported the vcard file into a new group in address book. Then used AB2CSV to export as CSV. worked like a charm (the way it was supposed to).
